ABOUT ME
Federico Cosmi, creator of the MARAVEGIE project, was born in Venice, the city where he studied, lives, and works.
Following his studies at the Venice Art Institute, with a special focus in the sculpture workshop, he expanded his professional skills by working in the fields of restoration, set design, and interior photography.
This eclectic background allowed him to deeply study and experiment with various types of resins, exploring their endless technical potential and innovatively combining them with other supporting materials.
Today, with MARAVEGIE, Cosmi synthesizes all the skills and aesthetic sensitivity he has developed over the years. Through the use of distinctly contemporary forms and materials, his artistic research becomes a tool to explore and celebrate the profound bond between individuals and their territory.
Federico Cosmi, creatore del progetto MARAVEGIE, è nato a Venezia, la città in cui si è formato, vive e lavora.
Dopo gli studi presso l'Istituto d'Arte di Venezia, con un focus particolare nel laboratorio di scultura, ha ampliato le proprie competenze professionali lavorando nei settori del restauro, della scenografia e della fotografia d'arredamento.
Questo percorso eclettico gli ha permesso di studiare a fondo e sperimentare l'utilizzo
di diverse tipologie di resine, esplorandone le infinite potenzialità tecniche e combinandole in modo innovativo con altri materiali di supporto.
Oggi, con MARAVEGIE, Cosmi sintetizza tutte le abilità e la sensibilità estetica maturate negli anni. Attraverso l'impiego di forme e materiali spiccatamente contemporanei, la sua ricerca artistica diventa uno strumento per indagare e celebrare il legame viscerale tra l'individuo e la propria terra.
